Nullcon Berlin 2025 Returns for Fourth Edition With Global Security Experts and Deep-Dive Trainings

Merllyne Nesakumaran

Live Bug Hunting, AI Security Workshops, Curated Sessions and More

Princeton, NJ – Nullcon is returning to Berlin for its fourth edition on September 4 and 5 with three days of intensive pre-event trainings from September 1 to 3. Building on its roots in Goa, India, Nullcon has evolved into a global platform for unveiling cutting-edge research, driving collaborative security solutions and cultivating a passionate infosec community.

Hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott Berlin City Center, the event brings together security researchers, analysts, red teamers, developers, engineers, bug bounty hunters, CISOs, policymakers and early-career professionals from across Europe, Israel, India and the U.S. – all united by their work at the frontlines of cybersecurity.

“Nullcon Berlin isn’t just another security event, it’s a playground where the best minds gather to share, learn and build,” said Antriksh Shah, founder of Nullcon. “From hallway conversations to live hacking arenas, every part of the experience is designed to be technically enriching and professionally valuable.”

The three-day training segment will feature in-depth, instructor-led workshops covering high-demand topics, such as:

  • iOS malware hunting by Matthias Frielingsdorf;
  • Advanced Hands-On AI Security Workshop by Jitendra Chauhan and Apoorv Saxena;
  • Application Security Tool Stack by Markus Vervier and Eric Sesterhenn.

These sessions are tailored to deliver practical value to penetration testers, vulnerability researchers, developers and security consultants looking to sharpen their skill sets in real-world environments.

Following the trainings, the main conference on September 4 and 5 will be a single-track event featuring over 14 curated talks from global security leaders across organizations like Microsoft, CyberArk, Fraunhofer FKIE, Nokia, Visa, Synacktiv and more. The 2025 edition spotlights topics, including:

  • MacOS and Linux kernel security;
  • AI red teaming and threat modelling;
  • New vulnerabilities and fuzzing technique;
  • Binary analysis and memory corruption;
  • Hardware and firmware security.

The event offers attendees multiple avenues to engage in cutting-edge research and hands-on exploration through exclusive segments, such as:

  • Firmware Security Village – Hands-on, CTF-style challenges in firmware analysis;
  • Live Bug Bounty Program;
  • Sharpening Your Lockpicking Skills.

A signature highlight of the event is the Live Bug Hunting Challenge, organized in collaboration with YesWeHack, where participants will compete to discover vulnerabilities in a live target unveiled only at the session’s kickoff. Winners earn cash rewards, swag and recognition among top-tier security teams.

The conference offers a comprehensive experience that extends beyond the main stage. Attendees can also visit the exhibition zone to engage with cybersecurity companies, explore new tools, and connect with recruiters and community projects.

Nullcon’s diverse programming reflects the event’s selective approach – the 2025 Call for Papers received over 130 submissions, and the selected talks represent a balanced mix of novel research, creative solutions and strategic insights.

As part of its commitment to community growth and supporting emerging talent, Nullcon is offering scholarship passes for bug bounty hunters. Recipients will gain complimentary access to all talks, workshops, villages and CTFs – opening doors to industry connections and career advancement in cybersecurity.

Nullcon’s growth from a niche conference in India to a global brand is a testament to its commitment to nurturing innovation, enabling high-impact conversations and providing a collaborative space for knowledge exchange.

Sponsorship opportunities are still open, with tailored packages that support branding, hiring and technical engagement. Registration and full schedule details are available at: https://nullcon.net/berlin-2025.
