The Solution Room session titled, “Deepfakes, Real Stakes: Unmasking Cyber Deception in a High-Stakes Tabletop Simulation,” hosted jointly by the United States Secret Service and CyberEdBoard, will simulate a sophisticated cyberattack involving deepfake technology, social engineering and financial fraud. In this interactive session, participants will enhance organizational readiness, foster interagency collaboration, and develop strategic response strategies encompassing legal, technical, and communication aspects.
In addition, the summit will also feature a special session featuring Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who will discuss the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Task Force in Washington following the bipartisan passage of Senate Bill 5838. Attorney General Ferguson will provide an overview of the task force’s objectives and structure, aimed at evaluating the implications of AI technologies and offering well-informed legislative suggestions.
Attorney General Ferguson’s session will also encompass the broader landscape of AI regulation and innovation, comparing the task force’s endeavors with similar initiatives in other states and addressing the distinct challenges and opportunities posed by AI technologies.
