Inaugural CyberEdTalks Event Held in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Information Security Media Group’s Global Events Division Partners With Cyber Security Summit Brazil
Princeton, N.J. August 1st 2018 – Information Security Media Group, the leading media provider serving the information security community, held the first in its new series of CyberEdTalks events July 27-28 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The new CyberEdTalks brand builds off the success of ISMG’s Global Summit Series, which offers annual events around the world.
The inaugural CyberEdTalks event in Sao Paulo, which ISMG prepared in partnership with the Cyber Security Summit Brazil, provided unprecedented education to the South American market. Through the use of translators, content was delivered predominantly in Portuguese. Industry influencers from around the world gathered to share important insights. Kicking things off was Guido Amin Naves, a four-star general who is official general of Brazil’s Cyber Command.
Other speakers included: Cel. Marcelo Paiva Fontenele of the Brazilian Army; David Brassanini, chief operations and legal attache at the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation; Prashant Pillai, director of the Cyber Research Institute at the University of Wolverhampton in England; Bruno Rodrigues, who is conducting research at the University of Zurich, and many others.
