Breach and Prevention Summits to Follow in London and Singapore This Month

 Princeton, N.J. November 3, 2016

Information Security Media Group, the leading media provider to the information security community, recently wrapped up its annual Healthcare Security Summit Nov. 1 and 2 in New York. The company hosts two more Fraud and Breach Prevention Summits this month. The London Summit takes place on Nov. 9 and the Singapore Summit follows on Nov. 22.

“Our Healthcare Security Summit arguably was the premier event in the healthcare security industry this year. The quality of the session leaders and of the sessions themselves brought our senior-level attendees new strategies and best practices to combat the ongoing rise in security threats relevant to the healthcare sector,” says ISMG CEO Sanjay Kalra. “Our content and innovative networking sessions continue to be a huge draw for our growing number of attendees.”

The speakers at this month’s Healthcare Security Summit underscored the depth and diversity of the content that attendees experienced. Deven McGraw, Deputy Director of Health Information Privacy, HHS Office for Civil Rights, and Jay Kramer, Supervisory Special Agent, Cyber Division of the FBI, each presented keynote sessions on the reasons why healthcare is an attractive target to cyberattackers and the need to have a “wartime” mindset when addressing the cyber threat landscape.

The London and Singapore Summits will feature a comparable level of speakers. Among the speakers at the London Summit are Jeremy King, International Director of the PCI Security Standards Council, who will discuss the ramifications of the payments revolution, and Jennifer Arcuri, Founder of Hacker House Ltd. and The InnoTech Network, who will perform a live presentation of a phishing attack. The Singapore Summit will feature sessions by Dr. Madan Oberoi, Director, Cyber Innovation & Outreach, Interpol, on mitigating threats in collaboration with law enforcement and government and Andrew Koh, Deputy Chief Manager, China Construction Bank, on mobile payments fraud.

In addition, a wide range of exhibitors, including CloudPassage, Cylance, Fiserv and Arbor Networks, among many others, have contributed subject matter experts to lead sessions for all three Summits on such pressing topics as leveraging employees to defend against cyber threats, mobile payments fraud, assessing the risks posed by medical devices, and methods that will safeguard PHI in the cloud.

ISMG will have hosted over a dozen Summits by the close of 2016. The company recently announced its 2017 Summit schedule, which includes six North American Summits in Atlanta, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Chicago, New York and Toronto, with another seven events throughout the rest of the world, including Sydney, Dubai, London, Singapore, Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi.
