Global APT Defense Summit Call for Speakers

Information Security Media Group

If you are a senior information security professional and confident public speaker, with a passion for fighting targeted cyber-attacks and APTs, I’d very much like to talk with you about your potential participation in one or more of our APT events.

The day follows a uniquely structured “Defense Framework” that provides clarity into each of the attack phases and the state-of-the-art defense for each of them. See the event and session descriptions at the Global APT Defense Summit event page and please let me know if you have interest in participating in one of the sessions.

The ISMG APT Defense Framework

About the Event

Any organization that owns, protects or operates anything of value will at some stage be on the receiving end of a targeted cyber-attack.

This event uses the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain™, which describes the attack phases in the most commonly observed order of events. We then use the ISMG Defense Framework to describe the best in class technologies and mechanisms for defense at each step, all the way from establishing a resilient security baseline, through gathering threat intelligence, zero-day malware detection, security analytics and how best to build a measured incident response capability.

We will also discuss the “Fail Chain,” where we provide examples of real world breaches and show where the opportunities to defeat them were missed.

The market is currently awash with fragmented and contradictory messaging. This unique, intense day of sequential attack- and defend-based sessions will clarify both the problem and describe the end-to-end solution, delivering an actionable framework for attendees to integrate into their existing security strategies.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.
