Twin Events Showcase Security Culture Development, Digital Supply Chain Protection and Singapore’s OT Cybersecurity Masterplan

Princeton, NJ – QG Media, an ISMG company, is pleased to announce the sixth CS4CA APAC Summit and second APAC Cyber Summit. Set to return to Singapore on April 16 and 17, these co-located summits will focus on building cyber resilience through cross-functional collaboration and practical security frameworks.

The summits will bring together more than 150 senior cybersecurity leaders from oil and gas, manufacturing, finance, healthcare and retail sectors. Recent industry data reveals escalating threats across both IT and OT environments, with ransomware against industrial organizations up 87% and enterprise data breaches increasing 35% year-over-year. These events aim to address this complex threat landscape through complementary approaches to security.

“The sixth annual CS4CA APAC Summit alongside the APAC Cyber Summit creates a unique opportunity to address the full spectrum of security challenges facing organizations today,” said Kudsia Kaker, managing director at QG Media. “From practical approaches for security culture development and digital supply chain protection to Singapore’s pioneering OT Cybersecurity Masterplan, these summits provide leaders with frameworks that bridge traditional divides and strengthen organizational resilience.”

At the APAC Cyber Summit, Atul Dhamne, CISO and director of information technology at Accuron Technologies, will present “Survival in the Digital Era: What Does a Culture of Cyber Security Look Like?” This case study will examine how security leaders can cultivate environments where communication and collaboration around security issues become organizational strengths rather than compliance exercises.

Digital supply chain vulnerabilities have emerged as a critical concern for organizations across sectors. The APAC Cyber Summit will feature Charmaine Valmonte, CISO at Aboitiz Group, addressing this topic in “Protecting the Digital Supply Chain: A Holistic Approach.” As supply chains grow more interconnected and digitally dependent, her session will offer practical strategies for enhancing visibility and implementing appropriate security controls.

The APAC Cyber Summit will also explore IT alignment challenges through a panel discussion titled “Uniting IT: Prioritization and Collaboration Between IT Security and the Wider IT Team.” Moderated by Viktor Pozgay, executive director and head of threat-led security risk assessment in the banking industry, this session brings together security leaders from financial institutions, energy companies and industry associations to examine how organizations can overcome communication barriers.

Singapore’s approach to operational technology security takes center stage at the CS4CA APAC Summit, where Christopher Anthony, director of critical information infrastructure division at the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, will dive deep into the nation’s OT Cybersecurity Masterplan. This strategic framework has gained international attention for its innovative secure-by-design approach to protecting vital infrastructure systems.

The growing sophistication of threat actors demands new defensive strategies. Addressing this challenge at the CS4CA APAC Summit, Col. Joey Fontiveros, commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Cyber Command, will present “Nowhere to Hide: How to Stand and Fight Cybercrime.” His military perspective offers a unique lens on practical countermeasures that organizations can implement to protect digital assets.

“These twin summits respond directly to what security professionals are asking for – practical strategies for today’s complex threat landscape,” said Jennifer Eisenhofer, vice president of events at ISMG. “By bringing together experts addressing critical topics such as security culture development, supply chain protection and operational technology security, we’re facilitating the knowledge exchange needed to protect both business operations and critical infrastructure across the region.”

The complementary focus of these co-located events provides security professionals with a comprehensive view of modern security challenges. Attendees will gain valuable insights into organizational security culture, digital supply chain protection, and operational technology security – equipping them with strategies to strengthen resilience against increasingly sophisticated attacks.
