ISMG’s Global Summit Series Continues Success in Canada

In the Wake of Equifax Breach, Senior Leaders Gathered in Toronto to Address Pressing Issues

Information Security Media Group, the leading media provider to the information security community, continued its global summit series with its Fraud and Breach Prevention Summit at the Delta Hotels Toronto Sept. 12-13. The event featured influential cybersecurity leaders, including keynoters Art Coviello, retired chairman of RSA; and Gord Jamieson, Visa’s senior director of Canada risk services. The Toronto event gathered leaders from a variety of security sectors to discuss the trending topics in the cybersecurity environment, including the massive Equifax data breach, GDPR compliance and cyberattack trends in 2017 and beyond.

Among the attendees were senior leaders from all of the Big 5 Canadian financial institutions—CIBC, TD, BMO, Scotia and RBC—who engaged with the strong lineup of subject matter experts who made presentations as well as the vendor exhibitors.

Among the technology companies featured in the exhibit hall and in informational sessions were RSA, CA, Skybox Security, Trendmicro, Entrust, Lastline, R-sam, Centrify and Arbor Networks.
