Cybersecurity Week 2026 Concludes Across Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai
From AI Governance to Quantum Risk, India’s Top Cybersecurity Minds Convene for a Week of High-Stakes Dialogue
Mumbai, India – ISMG’s Cybersecurity Week 2026 closed its three-city run with more than 700 attendees, nearly 77% at the director level or above, gathering across India’s three leading business hubs. The event brought together leaders from more than 20 industries to address the fast-shifting intersection of artificial intelligence, regulation and enterprise risk.
Bengaluru opened the week on April 21 with experience-led conversations on enterprise security, AI-driven risks and governance. New Delhi followed on April 23, focusing on regulatory pressures, resilience and national security priorities. Mumbai closed the week on April 28 with a forward-looking agenda spanning quantum readiness and geopolitical response strategies, including a hands-on masterclass on AI-driven challenges.
The tri-city summit brought together 70 speakers from BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, technology and critical infrastructure, building on ISMG’s strong legacy of convening diverse, senior-level voices.
“Cybersecurity has moved to the center of business strategy. Today, it shapes how organizations innovate, manage risk and build trust in an increasingly digital economy,” said Geetha Nandikotkur, vice president and conference chair for Asia, Middle East and Africa at ISMG.
The event spanned 38 keynote sessions, panel discussions, fireside conversations and special segments, such as “A Day in a CISO’s Life,” creating space for candid cross-sector exchanges on managing cybersecurity in complex, distributed environments. The Mumbai chapter also featured ISMG.Studio, where seasoned editors sat down with top security leaders to capture the pulse of an industry at a critical inflection point.
Leaders examined AI’s dual role in cybersecurity, as a tool for enhancing threat detection and response, and as a vector introducing new vulnerabilities. Discussions underscored the need to balance innovation with data privacy, regulatory compliance and national security considerations in India’s evolving policy landscape.
“The nature of cyber risk is changing faster than ever, with AI, regulation and geopolitics reshaping the threat landscape simultaneously,” said Varun Haran, managing director, Asia and Middle East, ISMG. “Organizations are no longer just defending systems, they’re rethinking security as a long-term strategic capability.”
Beyond AI, sessions addressed cyber resilience, compliance readiness and forward-looking domains including quantum security and operational technology. Discussions around the Digital Personal Data Protection Act reinforced how organizations are viewing compliance as a driver of trust and competitive advantage. The emphasis on peer learning and candid dialogue ensured that these exchanges translated into actionable insights for attendees.
The 2026 edition highlighted the importance of aligning cybersecurity with broader business objectives, reinforcing the role of security leaders as key contributors to organizational strategy and resilience. Future editions of Cybersecurity Week will build on this momentum, deepening executive engagement, expanding cross-industry collaboration, and continuing to deliver high-value, insight-driven experiences that address the evolving needs of the cybersecurity community.
